Convoy selects WeatherOptics for improved weather risk insights and optimized brokerage

Convoy, a leading digital freight network, announced a new partnership today with WeatherOptics, a leading weather intelligence platform, to better understand freight and brokerage risk during high impact weather.

WeatherOptics translates weather data into simple risk scores and delay times that allow businesses to easily understand how upcoming weather will impact key operations. Some of the largest brokerages, shippers, and carriers leverage WeatherOptics to improve freight execution, spot pricing, route optimization, and safety.

Convoy is one of the largest digital freight networks in North America, moving thousands of truckloads around the country each day through an optimized, connected network of carriers, saving money for shippers, increasing earnings for drivers, and eliminating carbon waste. Shippers like Anheuser-Busch, P&G, and Unilever rely on Convoy to lower costs and increase logistics efficiency.

The new partnership will allow Convoy to leverage actionable weather impact insights from WeatherOptics like RightRoute and the Road Conditions Index, improving the ability to understand shipment risk and allowing brokers to better manage freight during disruptive weather.

This news comes after WeatherOptics recently announced partnerships with RTS and Motive.
